Iowa: The Film

I came across an ad in the paper for this new film, "Iowa" that's coming out soon. Described as "A cautionary tale of love, crime, fantasy and addiction that follows two young Iowan lovers who decide to go into the "batch" business - cooking their own methamphetamine - only to watch it burn a searing hole in their lives." The tag line is kind of wonderful too (see poster)

The Internet Movie Database message board for this movie (I highly recommend avoiding these message boards at all costs) is flooded with "I'm from Iowa too, I grew up in Davenport etc." conversations. Hasn't been this much attention since Straight Story.

Needless to say, I'm sure it will be intense (see above film still)
