Beaver, Utah

I opted out of stopping by most touristy places throughout arizona, colorado, and utah, but I did make one unplanned stop in the middle of the night. Driving down Highway 15, I came across a town called Beaver which is where the first portion of a film called The Beaver Trilogy was filmed. I needed a break from driving so I wandered around the town and snapped some pictures. This american life did an episode about the movie last year that is well worth a listen.


This didn't translate too well with the flash but it was a war memorial with a statue of a soldier holding a grenade and screaming.

From Iowa to Boulder and Boulder to San Diego

I got to spend the day in Boulder, Colorado with my friend mark relaxing and re cooperating for the drive to San Diego.
